CONFIRMED! West Brom boss Tony Pulis signs new contract extension until 2019

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has signed a new contract extension tying him down to 2019, the club have confirmed.

The Welshman’s previous contract expired at the end of the upcoming season but he has agreed to another year following talks with chairman John Williams.

Former Stoke and Crystal Palace boss Pulis joined the Baggies in January 2015 and has guided the club to 13th, 14th and 10th in the league table during his two and a half seasons in charge.

Last season Pulis’ work was highly commended and he made the six-man shortlist for Premier League manager of the year – eventually losing out to Chelsea’s Antonio Conte.
