West Bromwich Albion striker Brandon Thomas-Asante says he is ready to "lead" their attack on their challenge for promotion from the Championship.
Thomas-Asante came off the bench to score the Baggies' second goal in their 2-0 win at Coventry City on Tuesday.
It was his fifth goal of the season as injury-hit Albion continued to defy their injury issues to go into fifth.
"I think I can give it a good go. I was really happy with the goal," Thomas-Asante, 24, told BBC Radio WM.
Thomas-Asante's effort - a fine curling strike into the top corner - condemned the Sky Blues to their first home defeat of the season and ensured Albion made it 10 points out of the last available 15.
