An Audi driver has been arrested over a fatal crash in Birmingham that saw him plough into six other vehicles on a high street.
Shocking video showed the moment the speeding driver smashed into the cars along Soho Road, Handsworth, at about 8.20pm last night.
A passenger in a stationary vehicle, in his 30s, suffered serious injuries and died, West Midlands Police revealed. The victim's name has not been released.
Two other people were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries. Their current conditions are unknown.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was taken to hospital for treatment, after which he will be questioned, the force said.
