New Watford manager Javi Gracia is a ‘shrewd’ appointment from the Premier League club, Spanish football expert Graham Hunter has told talkSPORT.
The Hornets sacked head coach Marco Silva on Sunday morning and appointed his successor before the end of the day, with Gracia signing an 18-month contract.
The 47-year-old has most recently managed Russian club Rubin Kazan and LaLiga outfit Malaga, and is said to be ‘valued very highly in Spain’.
And Hunter says fans can expect their new boss to quickly improve performances at Vicarage Road.
