Watford have terminated the contract of former England defender Danny Rose.
Rose joined the Hornets on a two-year-deal last summer after ending a 13-year-association with Tottenham.
However, he struggled at Vicarage Road and made just nine appearances last season.
The left-back last featured in December after falling out of favour under former Watford boss Claudio Ranieri.
And the Hornets have now agreed a mutual termination of Rose's contract, despite him still having a year left on his deal, capping a tumultuous few years for the 29-capped England international.
The 32-year-old spent 13 years at Spurs after arriving from Leeds United as a teenager, before joining Watford on a free transfer.
