Watford have reportedly rejected a deadline day offer from Manchester United for Senegal striker Ismaila Sarr.
United have been linked with the 22-year-old all summer as a potential alternative to their top target, and now at the eleventh hour a move has been made.
Championship side Watford have already rebuffed the approach of a loan deal with an option for a permanent transfer, as report the Manchester Evening News.
United are said to have proposed a £25million fee to make the deal permanent at the end of the current season.
