Watford have checked on Huddersfield Town’s Wales international winger Sorba Thomas.
The 22-year old capped a remarkable rise when he was called up for his international debut in Wales’ World Cup qualifier against Czech Republic in September - just nine months after leaving non league Boreham Wood.
His attitude and dedication to making the grade have made him a firm favourite at Huddersfield.
After putting extra work doing beach runs in Porthcawl and reporting for training two weeks early, Thomas won Championship player of the month in August.
He initially joined Boreham Wood as a 16-year old following a trial after he was released by West Ham.
