Watford midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah joins up with England squad to continue injury rehab

Uncapped Nathaniel Chalobah has joined the England camp after being invited by Gareth Southgate to continue his rehabilitation with them this week.

The Three Lions' 27-man squad are at St George's Park preparing to face Holland and Italy as manager Southgate weighs up his options ahead of the World Cup.

And, according to Press Association Sport, injured Watford midfielder Chalobah is also part of the camp this week.

The 23-year-old has been out with a knee injury since September and is undergoing rehabilitation at St George's Park.

The former Chelsea midfielder is understood to have been visiting the national football centre in Burton for treatment on and off for a while, with Southgate inviting him into the camp ahead of Friday's friendly in Holland.
