Watford manager Walter Mazzarri would not be able to stop Odion Ighalo leaving as West Bromwich Albion prepare bid for off-form striker

Walter Mazzarri admits he would be powerless to stop Odion Ighalo leaving Watford this month.

West Bromwich Albion are prepared to pay £17million for the 27-year-old Nigeria striker, who has scored just two goals for the Hornets this season.

Ighalo managed 18 in all competitions for the club last term and his slump in form suggests a fresh challenge may do him good.
