Watford boss Marco Silva refuses to dwell on 6-0 Man City thrashing and thinks games against Premier League's lesser sides will define his season

Marco Silva feels Watford's season will be defined by the results they achieve against teams like Swansea rather than the odd hammering at the hands of a Premier League giant.

The Hornets head to Wales seeking a response following the 6-0 home mauling by Manchester City last weekend.

Silva's side, though, are not the only team to have been steamrollered by the free-scoring Blues, while title rivals Manchester United have also been 4-0 winners three times already in their opening five matches.

Watford opened up with an unbeaten run of four games in a solid start for Silva, which included a battling 3-3 home draw with Liverpool followed by wins at Bournemouth and Southampton.
