Watford 1-2 Gillingham: Bradley Dack hits extra-time winner to send Premier League side out of the EFL Cup

The last time that League One Gillingham played, they were beaten 5-0 by Scunthorpe.

So for Watford and their new Italian coach Walter Mazzarri, this can only go down as an evening of great embarrassment.

Three games in to his tenure, Mazzarri remains without a win, following a draw with Southampton and defeat by Chelsea. The agenda does not ease up, with Arsenal next to visit on Saturday and West Ham and Manchester United to come in early September.
