Watford manager Walter Mazzarri will make changes for the FA Cup trip to Millwall and already has one eye on next weekend’s crunch Premier League meeting with Burnley.
Bournemouth were beaten 3-0 by League One Millwall in the third round after manager Eddie Howe made 11 changes, but Mazzarri insists he has little choice.
And the Italian is even happy to have his team play two matches in three days, after turning down an option to push back Tuesday’s fixture at Arsenal by 24 hours, so they can have a clear run at the Burnley game.
With the Hornets winless in seven Premier League games and just eight points above the relegation zone, Mazzarri clearly views the meeting with the Clarets as the week’s must-win game.
