Watford have sacked Slaven Bilic after just six months in charge.
The Croatian boss became Watford's 17th manager in 10 years after taking over from Rob Edwards in September but has struggled to mount a promotion challenge with the Hornets, who slipped to ninth in the Championship last weekend.
Watford have only won three matches since Boxing Day under Bilic and have seriously dented their hopes of returning to the Premier League as a result.
Now three places and four points off a play-off spot, Watford have decided to part company with the 54-year-old and will remarkably begin searching a sixth head coach in 18 months.
