Nottingham Forest are set for talks over a £9m fee for Atalanta's Swiss midfielder and 'conductor of the orchestra' Remo Freuler... as Steve Cooper looks to add a FIFTH midfielder to his ranks this summer

Nottingham Forest are to hold further talks with Atalanta on Thursday over a proposed fee for midfielder Remo Freuler.

The 30-year-old, who has been described as 'the conductor of the orchestra' at Atalanta has been a key player for the Serie A side making over 200 appearances since joining from Luzern in 2016.

However, Freuler is ready for the new challenge of playing in the Premier League under Steve Cooper.

Forest also retain an interest in Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White after their last u00a325m bid plus u00a310m in add-ons was rejected

Talks have been ongoing for a number of weeks with the deal being on and off as negotiations sway over the proposed £9million fee.
