Liverpool scouts have checked on Danish international left-back Riza Durmisi.
The position is still a problem for Liverpool despite the excellent efforts of James Milner in the role this season.
Durmisi plays for Real Betis and has a buy out clause set at £17million after signing from Brondby last summer.
He played against Liverpool in a pre-season friendly in 2014 and almost scored from a free-kick which hit the bar.
