Liverpool surged to the top of the table after winning their tenth Premier League game in a row against Watford at Anfield.
The Reds largely laboured at Anfield and were fortunate not to fall behind early on after Alisson denied Juraj Kucka in a one-on-one.
However just 34 seconds later, Diogo Jota headed home a Joe Gomez cross before Fabinho settled home fans with a penalty kick a minute from time.
