Javi Gracia is grateful for passionate Leeds United fans... but will not discuss his long-term future until their Premier League survival fight is over

Javi Gracia admits Leeds United already have a place in his heart, but refuses to discuss his long-term future until their Premier League status has been secured.

The former Watford boss arrived at Elland Road in February after Jesse Marsch was sacked and has guided the Yorkshire giants to three wins in six Premier League games.

Gracia, 52, signed a ‘flexible’ contract — his position will be reviewed at the end of the season.

Gracia admits he has been taken aback by the passion of Leeds’ fanbase. ‘It’s something really emotional and something we have to keep for the coming years,’ he says.
