Former West Brom captain Jake Livermore played as a trialist for Watford in their friendly with Arsenal on Saturday.
Livermore, 33, spent six years with the Baggies, but was named on their released list at the end of the Championship season in May.
Currently unattached, the central midfielder is seeking his next challenge, and was reported to be training at Watford earlier in the week in a bid to keep his fitness up.
Then on Saturday, the former England international took to the field for the Hornets during their behind-closed-doors friendly clash against Arsenal, with The Athletic reporting he came off the bench in a 1-1 draw.
