Watford manager Marco Silva insists he is proud of his team’s impressive display at Stamford Bridge despite suffering a late defeat to Chelsea.
The visitors were the more dominant team in large periods of the Premier League clash, and led 2-1 in the second half after goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Roberto Pereyra overturned Pedro's early long-range strike.
The Hornets looked on course to inflict Chelsea with their third straight league defeat, but the defending champions rallied, with Michy Batshuayi coming off the bench to help turn the tide.
The Belgian striker levelled with 19 minutes left before Cesar Azpilicueta's 87th-minute header put Chelsea in front.
