Ben Foster has explained how Fabio Capello's treatment led to the keeper withdrawing from England duty, accusing the Italian of being disrespectful.
The veteran Watford stopper had a sporadic England career, appearing eight times for the Three Lions and only once at a major tournament.
Capello managed England from 2007 to 2012 in an era of woeful underachievement, culminating in a quarter-final exit from the European Championships, despite access to players like Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and John Terry.
Foster and his wife Kate have two children, and the 37-year-old said it was Capello's interference with family matters that cause him to cut ties with his national side.
