Former Liverpool and Leeds player Harry Kewell has left his role as Watford under-21s manager, sources close to the club have told ESPN FC.
Kewell took his first steps into coaching by taking the job in the summer of 2015.
The Australian retired from playing in 2014 and took his coaching badges as he pursued a career in management.
Kewell's position at Watford has come under scrutiny after a difficult season for their under-23 side.
Watford's second string are currently bottom of the Professional Development League South and they have suffered embarrassing 8-0 and 7-1 defeats to Ipswich and Cardiff respectively.
