Etienne Capoue and Roberto Pereyra restore Watford to winning ways

A blistering start from Watford put the game beyond the reach of Leicester with less than quarter of an hour played. Despite closing the gap with a penalty, the champions lacked guile and imagination going forward, allowing the Hornets to record a welcome 2-1 win without ever being in complete control.

Positives

With Odion Ighalo dropped to the bench, a changed formation saw Roberto Pereyra able to exert more influence on the game and was he was ably assisted by Etienne Capoue. Two wonderful goals were just reward for an excellent start and after a couple of disjointed looking performances, this was much more fluid and exciting from the Hornets.
