Schalke defender Dennis Aogo is set to join Watford on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old's contract with the German club will expire at the end of June and he is set to leave.
It has been reported that the Germany international could stay in the Bundesliga as clubs there were interested in him.
But now, according to Bild, Aogo will join Watford at the end of the month when his contract expires.
The left-back had been itching for a move for some time after making just 14 appearances in all competitions last season.
