Former Leeds United and RB Leipzig manager Jesse Marsch is the new manager of the Canada men's national team, the Canada Soccer Association (CSA) announced on Monday.
A statement said Marsch will join immediately on a deal through the end of July 2026 and will lead Canada at the Copa América later this year, the Concacaf Gold Cup next year and the World Cup in 2026 which Canada are co-hosting with the United States and Mexico.
The announcement was made over a CSA social media account via a Facetime call between Marsch and national team CEO Kevin Blue.
