Brighton have joined the list of clubs keeping tabs on Crawley's prolific striker Max Watters.
Watters is a man in demand after making a stunning start to life at Crawley, scoring 16 goals in just 18 appearances since joining as a free agent in October.
Swansea have had a bid worth up to £500,000 rejected by League Two Crawley but his price tag could hit seven figures with the race to sign the 21-year-old is hotting up ahead of the opening of the January transfer window next week.
West Brom and Watford have also made checks on Watters, as reported by Sportsmail, before Brighton became one of the latest clubs to run the rule over the former England schoolboys striker.
