Bournemouth have steel to win points even if displays are not up to scratch, says Nathan Ake after Watford draw

Nathan Ake insists points are more important than performances at this stage of the season as Bournemouth came from behind to rescue a late draw at Watford.

The Cherries trailed twice at Vicarage Road but fought back and sealed a share of the spoils when substitute Jermain Defoe made it 2-2 in stoppage time.

Watford had led through Kiko Femenia's first goal for the club, only for Joshua King to level with a penalty on the stroke of half-time following Jose Holebas' handball.

Roberto Pereyra restored the Hornets' advantage soon after the restart and Javi Gracia's side looked like taking all three points before Defoe turned home Ake's flick-on at the death.
