Blackburn 2-3 Watford: Hornets hold on to victory and climb to third place in the Championship thanks to goals from Joao Pedro, Ismaila Sarr and Ken Sema

Watford climbed to third in the Championship standings after goals from Joao Pedro, Ismaila Sarr and Ken Sema sealed a 3-2 victory.

Pedro and Sarr gave the Hornets a 2-0 lead, but Harvey Elliott scored just before half-time to give Blackburn a glimmer of hope going into the second-half.

Sema restored the lead after 61 minutes and though Ben Brereton got another goal back for Blackburn, Watford held on to go level on points with Brentford.
