Aston Villa's move for Watford's Ismaila Sarr has collapsed after the structure of the deal and the winger's personal terms proved to be a stumbling block.
Steven Gerrard's side initially agreed a £25million deal with the Championship side and Sarr was scheduled to undergo a medical.
But they have been unable to agree a payment structure with the Hornets and the player's demands have proven to be too difficult to overcome.

Aston Villa attempted to find alternative ways around the deal by offering to loan either Cameron Archer or Kortney Hause to Watford.
