WNBA Free Agency 2025: Mystics extend reserved qualifying offers to three, including Emily Engstler

Related Topics: Emily Engstler, WNBA

According to the WNBA’s transactions page, the Washington Mystics have extended reserved qualifying offers to forward Emily Engstler, guard Sug Sutton and center Bernadett Hatar.

Engstler averaged 5.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game in the 2024 WNBA season. Sutton averaged 5.3 points and 3.3 assists. And Hatar is a Hungarian player who has played for the Indiana Fever in 2021 and Connecticut Sun in 2023.

As reserved players, the Mystics hold the sole negotiating rights with these three. The contracts are not guaranteed and are for training camp only.

Given that the Mystics are likely deconstructing, Engstler and Sutton figure to have larger roles in Washington this season.
