Not long after the news of center LaToya Sanders retiring from the WNBA, the Washington Mystics welcome forward Theresa Plaisance to the team. General Manager and Head Coach Mike Thibault announced the news today.
Plaisance comes to the Mystics after being on two previous teams in her career. She was drafted in the 2014 WNBA Draft by the Tulsa Shock (Dallas Wings) in the third round where she was for five seasons. After that Plaisance spent time with the Connecticut Sun in 2019.
Head Coach Mike Thibault expressed the team’s excitement of having Plaisance with Washington.
