Bradley Beal scored 37 points and led a second half comeback, but the Wizards (8-19) fell to the Raptors (20-8) 122-118 Friday night at Scotiabank Arena. The Wizards trailed by as many as 18 points in the game and 11 in the fourth quarter, but Beal’s 12th 30-point game of the season and a historic shooting night from Ish Smith brough Washington back into reach in the fourth quarter.
Beal’s 37 came on 12-14 (.500) from the field and 10-12 (.833) from the free throw line to go along with seven rebounds and six assists. The game was Beal’s sixth this season with at least 30 points, five rebounds and five assists.
