Wizards vs. Pistons final score: Washington loses 124-104

The Washington Wizards lost to the Detroit Pistons, 124-104 on Sunday night at Capital One Arena.

In short, this was an old fashioned butt kicking due to Washington turning the ball over 17 times, which turned into 27 Detroit points.

Last season, the Pistons were marginally worse than the Wizards. But this season, Detroit has raced to a much better 7-8 record. Jaden Ivey led Detroit’s scorers with 28 points and 8 assists while Cade Cunningham had a triple double with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

For the Wizards, Kyle Kuzma led their scorers with 22 points and 6 rebounds, but he also committed 4 turnovers.
