Although the Washington Wizards were the favorites to win todays home game, the Detroit Pistons had other plans as they take the win, 129-117, in Capital One Arena. It was an early matchup on Monday afternoon as well as on MLK Day with a little snow outside on the ground.

The paint opened up a bit for the Pistons during most of the fourth quarter as Wizards center Daniel Gafford left the game with a head injury and didn’t return.
