In the first game of the 2019-20 NBA season, the Washington Wizards lost to the Dallas Mavericks 108-100 in their season opener.
The Wizards went through plenty of changes during the offseason which included the acquations of Isaiah Thomas, CJ Miles, Davis Bertans, drafting Rui Hachimura and Admiral Schofield and the eventual of assistant general manager Tommy Sheppard and plenty others of new faces in the front office.
Throughout the game, Washington was playing catch up until the fourth quarter where the team outscored Dallas 32-17 and was four minutes from tying the contest up.
