The Washington Wizards' losing streak continued Wednesday as they lost 137-101 to a red-hot Dallas Mavericks squad at Capital One Arena.
The Wizards held a very early 6-3 lead to open the game. But once the Mavs got ahead on a Klay Thompson layup, the visitors never looked back. Washington lost every quarter by at least seven points. The 36-point margin of defeat is the largest of the season thus far, surpassing the 31-point mark set in the previous game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Wizards rookies Bub Carrington and Alex Sarr had decent showings in this one.
