The Washington Wizards lost to the New York Knicks on Saturday night, 121-105.
Just like the Cleveland Cavaliers debacle, there weren’t many team-wide positives to write about. The Wizards never led in this game and were behind by as many as 26 points in the second quarter. While the Wizards did make a big run in the third quarter to shrink the deficit to single digits, it was far from enough.
Individually, Kyle Kuzma led the way with 27 points. Deni Avdija had a double double with 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting and 10 rebounds, while also adding 6 assists.
