The Washington Wizards are back in the winning column on Thursday after beating the Sacramento Kings 73-69 in the NBA Summer League.
After a game where rookie center Alex Sarr was held scoreless, Le Beau de Bordeaux (The Bordeaux Beauty, for those of you who don’t know French) almost went scoreless again, shooting just 1-of-6 for 2 points. But he did grab 11 rebounds and dish 4 assists, so there is more to Sarr’s game than just shooting.
Washington was in control for the bulk of this game, especially in the second half. Jules Bernard led Washington in scoring with 20 points off the bench.
