The Washington Wizards lost a close one to the Sacramento Kings, 121-119, after a tough pull-up jumper from De’Aaron Fox to seal the game.
After being out scored 36-27 in the third quarter, Washington bounced back to keep the game close with the Kings during majority of the fourth quarter. In the last minute of the fourth quarter, vintage Russell Westbrook showed his face to get the Wizards back in it.
Westbrook banked two free throws to bring their deficit down to 119-115 with 1:10 left in the game. The Wizards couldn’t seem to grab a rebound as the Kings grabbed two offensive rebounds but two missed shots and a shot clock violation seemed to save Washington.
