Wizards vs. Hawks final score: Washington’s falls under Atlanta’s 3-point barrage in 137-129 loss

Nine Hawks scored in double-digits and collectively they made 20 of their 41 three-point attempts to beat the Wizards 137-129 on Monday night.

Atlanta didn’t look like a team wrapping up a two-week road trip in the first half. They connected on 6 of their first 12 shots from deep. When they didn’t make shots, they worked Washington on the glass to get extra opportunities.

Atlanta took an 18-point lead less than three minutes into the second quarter which forced Scott Brooks to bring his starters back into the game. That plan only worked for a minute because Bradley Beal picked up his third foul on a questionable call.
