After a signature win over the Denver Nuggets yesterday, the Washington Wizards came back to earth with a 140-112 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night at Capital One Arena.
Washington was taken out early in this game and were outmatched. Memphis won out with their three point shooting, going 17-of-43 from the deep while the Wizards went 6-of-32.
Jonas Valanciunas led the Wizards with 20 points and 14 rebounds. In addition, Bilal Coulibaly added 17 points.
For the Grizzlies, Jaren Jackson, Jr. led with 21 points.
The Wizards will now have a mini break over the next few days.
