Washington is adding another big man to the mix for this year’s Summer League squad, and this one has a championship pedigree. The Wizards are signing in Daniel Ochefu to an unguaranteed deal, according to Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post. He will join Jaleel Roberts and Kaleb Tarczewski as frontcourt options on this year’s Summer League team.
Even though Ochefu helped lift Villanova to a national title this season, he wasn’t an exceptionally highly regarded prospect in this year’s draft class. He was not listed in the DraftExpresss Top 100 Rankings.
