The Washington Wizards are bringing back a familiar face for one of their two open roster spots.
The Wizards signed veteran point guard Ramon Sessions to a 10-day contract on Thursday, according to multiple reports. Sessions previously played with the Wizards from 2015-2016.
Sessions, 31, will be the Wizards‘ third point guard with the absence of John Wall (knee). He spent time with the New York Knicks this season, but was waived in January.
The Wizards will have 10 days with Sessions, and will then have three options: Offer him another 10-day contract, sign him for the rest of the season or let him walk.
