The winning streak continues to elude the Washington Wizards, who still have yet to win consecutive games this season. The Wiz lost 129-118 Friday against the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center.
The Wizards got off to a strong start in San Francisco. Kyle Kuzma poured in a quick 7 points to help give Washington the lead for most of the 1st quarter. However, the Warriors took a 26-25 advantage thanks to a Moses Moody reverse layup at the :46 mark.
Corey Kispert and former Warrior Jordan Poole led the way in the 2nd quarter. The two combined for 19 points in Q2 to pace the Wizards’ offense.
