Wizards at Raptors final score: Washington blown out 125-98 in first preseason game

The Washington Wizards were blown out by the Toronto Raptors in a 125-98 loss on Sunday in Montreal in their first 2024-25 NBA preseason game.

The Wizards were thoroughly demolished from start to finish in this game. They never led and were down by as many as 33 points earlier tonight. Six Raptors players scored in double figures, led by RJ Barrett, who scored 17 on 7-of-10 shooting.

Toronto shot 54.8 percent from the field while limiting Washington to 42.1 percent shooting themselves. They also outrebounded Washington 51-32, and outassisted Washington, 39-22. A thorough butt kicking, so to speak.
