Wizards lose to Brooklyn 124-97, as this one got out of hand in the 2nd half.
It was mentioned quite a bit during the broadcast, but despite Brooklyn’s corner three point shooting being a focal point of the Wizards defensive plans, that was not ultimately what hurt the team tonight, well at least initially.
Brooklyn shot under 30 percent, while only making 3 three pointers for the first half. This is what kept the Wizards close. As the game went on Brooklyn started getting hot, including hitting 5-8 from behind the arc in the 3rd quarter to push their lead to 19 points and the Wizards just did not have it going offensive to keep up.
