The Washington Wizards lost to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, 123-100.
This game started off as though the Wizards would hang around as they got off to an early 6-point margin. That lead would not last long as the Wizards started going cold from the field. For the 1st half, the team shot only 33 percent from the field.
The team struggled to get consistent scoring outside of Jonas Valanciunas, who finished with a team-high 23 points on 9-11 shooting. Everyone else, combined, shot 29 percent from the field.
The Wizards were down by 14 at the half, but simply could not pull together a large enough run to get back in it.
