Wizards at 76ers Game 2 final score: Simmons gets hot, Westbrook injured and in altercation in 120-95 loss

I always anticipated that the Washington Wizards would have a bad game somewhere in this series. And today was that bad game with Washington getting blown out 120-95 by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second game of their first-round playoff series. They now lose the series 2-0.

This game was decided in the first half as Ben Simmons scored 12 points in the first quarter to give the Sixers a 35-24 lead after one. So much for fearing Joel Embiid going off (he wasn’t going off too much).

The Wizards initially came back stronger in the second quarter, thanks to Bradley Beal scoring 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting in that period alone.
