The Washington Wizards announced on Saturday that they waived four players from their roster, but that does not necessarily mean they’re out of the Monumental Sports family. Chris Chiozza, Chasson Randle, Lavoy Allen, and Tiwian Kendley were all waived, but all four are expected to sign with Capital City Go-Go and play in the new St. Elizabeths Sports Arena.
Allen signed a training camp deal, but was selected by Capital City Go-Go in the G-League expansion draft so his rights will be retained. The other three players signed Exhibit 10 contracts with the Wizards. The Exhibit 10 contract was negotiated on behalf of the NBA Players Association during the latest Collective Bargaining Agreement.
