The Washington Wizards were hoping that Martell Webster would become a key part of their rotation this season. The veteran swingman had worked extremely hard this summer to get into shape and changed his entire regiment. After undergoing his third back surgery in 2014, Webster recognized that he needed to change the way he trains, eats and lives.
Unfortunately, Webster suffered another setback during training camp this season.
Webster felt pain in his hip and was diagnosed with a torn labrum. Instead of opting for surgery, Webster tried to play through the pain. He even wore glasses that were supposed to help correct his balance and make the pain more tolerable.
