On Wednesday, the Washington Wizards began their five-game road trip. First up, the Charlotte Hornets. The last time these two teams met back in November the game went into overtime. It was a thriller, but Charlotte prevailed, as John Wall played through a knee injury that would leave him sidelined for a couple of weeks.
The Hornets hold the 11th spot in the Eastern Conference. But they played as if they were a top team against the Wizards, blowing Washington out 133-109.
This was the 16th straight game that the Wizards allowed 100 or more points.
